Patrick Kemp
Patrick was born in central New York but is currently enjoying life in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia Canada with his wife and five children. He discovered his love of science fiction as a teenager, cutting his teeth on the greats of that genre such as Asimov, Heinlein, Zelazny, Herbert, and McCaffrey to name a few. His first story, “Me and an ant named Seymour,” was well received by the members of his fifth grade English class, but he struggled with ADHD and school in general and by ninth grade dropped out of school completely. He would not write again until his thirty’s but continued to enjoy any science fiction and fantasy books he could get his hands on. Patrick is both an Army and Navy veteran, and in addition to writing, He enjoys painting and playing his guitar.
