It was a hotly contested race, but the numbers don't lie. Once again, our Reader's Pick Award goes to...
...the incomparable Randall Andrews! His story, An Alien Eden, scored an impressive 40 Rockets! Congratulations, and well done, sir.
As always, the winner receives bragging rights, the lovely Reader's Pick Medal for their story, and cash money to the tune of $100.
Lest we forget, there are also three runners-up:
One Can Only Wish, Will Kelly, 35 Rockets
The Rescheduler, J.A. Taylor, 35 Rockets
Klepto Hero, also by Randall Andrews, 34 Rockets
As you can see, it was extremely close. One person's votes (up to five per story per subscriber account) could have served to swing the whole contest. And it's not nothing to be awarded Honorable Mention; the honor is considerable, especially in a month as close-run as this one. (Granted, you can't spend honor at the corner store, but it's still pretty cool.)
Congratulations, folks! And as always, Rocket Early, Rocket Often!
