This month, we've got an especially close race, so much so that we've been forced to add another Honorable Mention. Cool, huh?
Our winner is... [drumroll please]

"The Perils Of Time Racing", by Jeff Currier!
Congratulations to Mr. Currier, who, in addition to the coveted Reader's Pick medal, will also receive invaluable bragging rights and, rather more negotiably, a $100 cash prize enclosed with his paycheck. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't envious.
Honorable Mentions this month could easily have stretched well past three or even four, but there are some technical limits, so I'll just list:
"A Window Of Hope", by new writer Kaitlyn Andrews, who we hope to see more from
"To Read A Book", by J. Millard Simpson -- yes, that's me
and, tied for third HM, "Project Home Run" by Nina Miller and "Play the Planet Card", also by me
This is a week on which several major award winners and finalists throughout the industry have been announced. Our Reader's Pick, however, stands out against the rest because, uniquely, it's awarded strictly according to the number of Likes (read Rockets) awarded by our subscribers. There's no popularity contest involved, no special considerations given to anyone. This one's earned the way sales are: being good, and self-promotion.
Thus, our congratulations (and yes, our envy!) is both sincere and well-deserved. Well done indeed, people!
