Martin French comes from rural Ireland where he spent far too much time reading about and dreaming of writing a future that seemed a million miles away from life on a small farm. And then college happened, and theatre appeared, and he spent most of a lifetime working behind the scenes in theatre shows, occasionally adapting and writing plays. During the pandemic, Martin resumed writing prose fiction for the first time in decades on Medium.com, where he frequently writes tiny science fiction stories, and occasionally writes longer pieces that seem to be either about romance or death. Martin lives in Southern Indiana with a wife, a child, and many cats.
